The Artists' Association of Kotka
Artists' Assosiation of Kotka is a society for the visual artists in Kotka and it's immediate
surroundings. The purpose of the society is among other things to look after the professional
interests of the visual artists, to improve their professional skills and support the activities of their members. The purpose of the society is also to wake general interest and respect in visual arts
and the works of the visual artists.
To carry out these purposes the society arranges meetings, lectures and discussions as well as
exhibitions and schooling, and bring out publications.
Exhibitions have been held also abroad, for instance in Lübeck, Fredrikstad, Tallin and Tarto.
Artits' Association of Kotka was founded on 1977 an has thirty members.
